Dear Mrs. Brady,
I am very happy to write to you in connection with the vacancy for the position of a special school teacher as advertised in the June 2017 edition of Lumberjack Elementary School’s monthly magazine. I hereby wish to seize this medium to convey my desire to be considered for the vacant position. I obtained a bachelor’s degree in special education from the esteemed Maryland State College. I also hold an associate’s degree in early childhood education from the same institution. In addition to these academic qualifications, I also have over a decade’s worth of experience in special education as a profession. I have successfully managed students with speech impairment, Autism, Asperger’s Syndrome among others.
My work with these special students over the years has been highly beneficial in enriching my knowledge base and empowering my skillset in performing all the duties associated with being a special education teacher well.I am also a highly functional member of the Baltimore Special Education Teachers’ Association; a renowned professional organization that helps to harness productive attributes in special education teachers’ in particular.
In conclusion, I am very rational and tolerable, with an optimistic inclination to life. I believe strongly in teamwork as well as in the values/virtues of diligence. I have taken the initiative of enclosing my resume and a list of references herewith. My full contact information is also attached.
Many thanks in anticipation of a timely and favorable reply.
